4. Data processing
We collect and process personal data only where necessary to provide this website and our services.
5. Registration and user account
- Email address
- Password (stored in hashed/encrypted form)
- Registration time
6. Login and security
For secure operation we may store IP address, browser/device information (user agent), and login/logout timestamps.
7. Two-factor authentication (2FA)
For 2FA we process encrypted 2FA secrets and hashed recovery codes. Recovery codes are shown once and are not sent by email.
8. Security logs
Security-relevant events such as login attempts, 2FA changes, recovery-code use and session activities are logged for abuse detection and system security. These logs may include timestamp, IP address, device information and event type.
9. Session management
We store session tokens, IP address, device information and last activity. Users may terminate active sessions themselves.
10. Trusted devices
If you mark a device as trusted, a token is stored in your browser and linked in our database to reduce repeated 2FA prompts.
11. Email notifications
For account security we may send emails for new-device logins, 2FA activation/deactivation and recovery-code usage.
12. Legal basis
Processing is based in particular on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest), especially protection against misuse and ensuring system security.
